Many people that visit this site are former Jehovah's Witnesses who have decided to leave the religious organization for one reason or another. These people are of all walks of life and in various stages of the exit process. There are also many active Jehovah's Witnesses who visit JWR. These people often voice doubts about the teachings and are confused or frustrated. Many feel trapped and don't know where to go or what to do. To all such people, please feel at ease and welcome here. I started JWR after being disfellowshipped for 9 years. I found that after years of lonliness and private pain that there was an emormous community of former Witnesses who are the best support imaginable. These are people who intimately understand the experiences of one another. JWR, specifically the Community Forum, is a gathering place for such people; to listen, support and comfort one other. I hope you feel welcome here and that it truly will help you on your road to recovery.
