Since I first launched JWR I've covered all the associated site costs including, domain name registration fees as well as web hosting costs. I have done all the web design and technical work myself to help keep costs down. My desire has always been to have JWR as a completely free site, allowing members total access without having to pay a membership fee to enjoy the community and access all of the site resources. Let me say that my position has not changed and that JWR will remain open and accessible to all members whether they are able donate or not.

Not long ago , we began to experience difficulties with our web host's service. Because we were on an comparatively inexpensive hosting plan which was on a shared server with other hositng customers, we began experiencing ongoing connectivity issues which intermittently prevented members from accessing the site. I spent many hours on the phone with the hosting company's tech support team only to learn that there was no solution to this problem. We had to reconcile ourselves to moving to a new web host provider with more substantial capabilities and better service.

With that said, the costs and fees associated with maintaining JWR have increased significantly. For those who have a desire and the ability to donate towards these costs I would be most grateful for your support, your donations will be used and appreciated. If you are unable to make a financial contribution at this time, please don't worry and continue to enjoy the forum freely.
