Postby Moxie » Wed Aug 13, 2008 12:23 am

Perhaps the "Other" vote was for Zoroastrianism, or Ba'hai

the other vote was mine....

perusing the list, i saw nothing that i could identify with
at that level of conviction that would make the label fit.......

i am adrift.... somedays i could modify that with hopelessly,
and other day i would deign to say, indifferently.....

"Pastafarianism" should be added as a choice in the poll. LOL

I have returned to the belief I held at birth. Or the lack of belief, actually. Everything clicked into place for me when I started viewing religions and gods as a human invention.

Hopefully not, I don't think that is Moxie's intention. I'm trying to word my posts in such a way as to clearly explain my own viewpoint, without seeming like I'm trying to force it on others. I know where I stand and I love talking with ex-JW atheists, but I'm interested in discussing matters with people of faith as well...

I can imagine a situation where invasive 'preaching' could be a problem in debates or discussions with pious individuals however. Perhaps a 'no-preaching' rule could apply here but I'm sure we'll figure it out as the forum grows.

It looks like the membership count will likely double again today so that may not take very long.
