This is another great topic item I found over at JWN today.

I read the allowed pages, it was well written, and had me wanting to finish the story.

Reading bits of what was accessible made me furious and regret to even a greater extent that I was ever part of this untra DESTRUCTIVE CULT. I am glad that I choose to leave, because I do NOT want to be any part of it and do not want to share in its sins - Revelation 18:4.

The story is of an Elder (he is still an appointed JW, a company man as he states himself :? ) who's son gets disfellowshipped for a one-off sexual offence, despit showing sincere remorse, likely because one of the elders held a grudge and wanted to set an example. It cost him his marriage, kids and they rejected his reinstatement requests time after time - at which he finally killed himself. This elder regrets kicking him out of the house (yeah natural affection) because it would have costed him his priviledges.

Then he gives all kinds of tips on how to get reinstated quickly. For example if any congregation members even greets you, to report them to the elders. (If that is what it would cost to get reinstated, forget it...I do not want to betray my self along the way.) Show up for the FS meeting, just to be seen (you cant go out). Sit in the back of the hall, separate from your family. As the PO to study with you, he will make sure of Fast track reinstatement...

From what I have read, it even confirms more that this is a destructive pharisee cult that has lost all natural effection and of which Jesus would warn his followers. This is one of those times that I wish there was a God who would hold them accountable. Nobody should want to be part of this cult. To many people in human history and present day have hid behind the excuse of "only following orders".

Perhaps good to order, read and share the reinstatement bits on the board here...any takers?

I am so glad I have saved my children from this evil cult.....
I am so ashamed that I was once a cult member.... how discusting! these people wouldnt know love or compassion if it bit them on the arse!
the overwhelming emotion I had whilst reading the previews was thank goodness I am free of that!
I hope I live to see the day this evil cult collapses!
last week they would jump under a bus for me...
now they want to throw me under the bus........ CULT!

The book is completely unavailable!

I have typed the visible part of Tommy's story in a separate thread and did an analysis of it. It can be found here:
