This group exchanges online mp3 versions of various assembly and local public talks, with a lot of emphasis on particular speakers. This new directive in the April KM is really creating some mixed reactions within that group.

Is there any group out there committed to doing that? Should we start one? All of the PDFs out there, the audio files, even some message board posts...there's a wealth of necessary info out there that I fear us losing if it's not all saved in some central location.

For example, if your spouse or someone near you is having a heart attack, please don't call 911 yourself. Instead, go find an attendant, then he will call the convention first aid dept. and following the eventual arrival of likely medically incompetent JW staff, they will decide to call 911 or 999 if in Europe. God help you if you are having problems during a prayer...because nobody will move until the prayer ends some minutes later.
I also found the advice they gave for those staying at Hotels to be laughable, especially about abusing the free complementary breakfast! I remember traveling in Florida once and was staying at a hotel in a city that had a convention that weekend and there were dubs at the breakfast bar, who not only pigged out like this was their last free meal, but they stuffed fruit, donuts, drinks, and everything else not bolted down into their pockets and backpacks. I wonder if things have gotten so out of hand lately that hotel managers have complained to the WTS about losing money on JW's staying there?
